About our home...
When you enter The Pocono Place, you are greeted by a large open living area with cathedral ceilings, bathed in natural sunlight from oversized windows. Here you can relax and watch movies on the new 55” TV, build a fire in the fireplace or walk through the sliding glass doors to the large back deck and admire the lake shimmering through the trees. Our open kitchen with a counter-height eating area is fully stocked with pots, pans, knives, cutting boards, utensils, baking supplies, herbs, spices and oils which will tempt any chef to prepare delicious meals.
Through double glass doors sits our sunroom furnished with a beautiful wooden dining table that seats 10-12, a sitting area with a new queen sleeper sofa, a fireplace and more sliding glass doors leading to the back deck. On the deck you can use the new, four burner, infrared commercial grade grill, eat at the outdoor table or soak in our new hot tub.
Also on the first floor are two guest bedrooms and a full bathroom with a tub and shower. One bedroom has two sets of bunk beds, a cot and a pack and play crib. The other bedroom has a queen bed that is surrounded by a beautiful wooden wall unit and mirrored headboard. Both rooms have large closets.
In the living room, there are open wooden steps leading to the upstairs lofted workspace where we have set up an office space with two desks so you have a beautiful and comfortable space if you need to work. Also upstairs is a king bedroom with a new pillow-top mattress, a large walk-in closet, a TV and sliding glass doors opening to a private deck where you can watch the stars or the sunrise over the lake. There's also a full bathroom with a shower and whirlpool Jacuzzi tub on this level.
Back on the main floor, there is a winding staircase which leads to the lower level of the house. Here we have our game room area equipped with a new 55” TV, an Xbox360, board games, puzzles and toys for young children. There's a 4-6 person game table to spread out puzzles or play games around as well as comfortable sectional seating. In the rear and separated by a large privacy screen, our fourth bedroom is here with a king-sized bed and a new bathroom with a stall shower. You can also walk out of the sliding glass doors on this level to enjoy the lake without disturbing others.
Explore our outdoor space which includes a large, wooded lot, a fire pit, two levels of outdoor decks and a private walkway to the lake where you will be STEPS from the Timber Trails community playground and beach. Glide on the lake with our canoe and kayaks, paddle on our SUP or fish from the banks. Nearby is world class skiing, an indoor water park, outlet shopping, fly fishing, boating, hiking and biking.
We provide luxury linens, down alternative oversized comforters, duvet covers, pillows, throw blankets and towels. We also supply our guests with:
